Kelly Lloyd Dexter

Originally from Metro Detroit, Kelly Lloyd Dexter moved to Northern Michigan in 2015 to practice law in Traverse City and enjoy the natural beauty this region has to offer.

Ms. Dexter attended Western Michigan University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy. During her time in law school, she was on the Dean’s list, a member of the student elder law society and served as the head of the student mentorship program.

For over a decade, Ms. Dexter has focused her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianships, conservatorships, and elder law. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Grand Traverse Leelanau Antrim Bar Association and Women Lawyers Committee. 

Ms. Dexter lives just outside Traverse City in Honor, Michigan, with her husband and daughter.
